Shame on you Daily Mail. An extremely successful and talented woman is objectified and shamed for 'relaxing her diet on honeymoon' by a paper full of journalists that make numerous spelling and grammar mistakes on a daily basis. This is the same paper that will berate the modelling industry for causing eating disorders among young girls, failing to see their intrinsic involvement in the debilitating outcome.
Until we put an end to the constant attack on women for their appearance, not managing to be a stay-at-home mum and full on career woman AT THE SAME TIME, nipping out for a paper sans make-up, wearing too much make-up, looking older, having surgery to prevent looking older...we shall fail to be a healthy, happy society. This constant scrutiny and criticism fuels so many wide spread issues.
Since Jennifer Aniston got hitched and therefore put an end to all of the patronising stories surrounding her 'unsuccessful love life' (just forget about every other area she has been obscenely successful in why don't you, because all us women really want is a fairytale princess dress and happily ever after - ERGH!) those cretins at the Daily Mail must have been scratching their malicious little heads wondering what on earth they could shame her for next. Oh brilliant, she looks like she might have added half a pound to her toned and slim body, let's call her fat. Not only is this completely ridiculous as the woman has a GREAT body, it is just disgusting treatment of a human being.
We all know the Daily Mail is vile and appallingly written, but the way they victimise Jennifer Aniston is an attack on ALL women. She is merely a figure to represent us. If you are female, they are insulting you, criticising you, shaming you. For any men that aren't already outraged, they are talking about your wife, sister, girlfriend, daughter, mother, all women. This patriarchal society full of vitriol for women affects us all. We should stop reading that badly written, uninformative dross in any form, nothing good can come from that horrendous paper and the sooner they have no readers, the sooner all of those poor quality journalists with exquisite bodies and perfect love lives can be made redundant.
